President Biden has just endured a horrible week after various decisions made had disastrous impacts and reversals on both the foreign policy and domestic arena’s.

These failures are the latest examples that have begun to show to the American people as they begin to question his competency in handling the duties of president. These failures have or could have a greater impact on the president as his support drops so will his domestic agenda.

The first of these issues was announced by the Pentagon on Friday, when the Defense Department announced they had reversed a previously released pronouncement that days after a terror strike had killed 13 U.S. military personnel, a drone strike had killed an Islamic State extremist.

Embattled Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, days after the attack that the drone attack appeared to have been a “righteous” strike, with one of the “facilitator” for the Islamic State group’s Afghanistan affiliate who was killed was responsible for the deaths of 169 Afghan civilians and 13 American military personnel in a suicide bombing on Aug. 26 at the Kabul airport.

When in fact, Marine Gen. Frank McKenzie, head of U.S. Central Command, told a Pentagon news conference that instead of a terrorist being killed the drones strike killed multiple civilians to include seven children.

McKenzie stated that “The strike was a tragic mistake,” and also mentioned when pressed that they had no actual assistance from anyone or entity on the ground. This further compound the president’s argument of the success of his “over the horizon” capabilities the U.S. has in striking back at terrorism inside Afghanistan with the removal of all U.S. forces.

Early this month President Biden got ahead of his own science when he announced a plan to issue booster shots to all Americans beginning September 20th, unfortunately he got in front of science and his own Food and Drug Administration.

The Food and Drug Administration panel in a nearly unanimous decision 16-2 rejected the president’s rollout by not recommending COVID-19 booster shots for all Americans except those over 65 and those with immune deficiency issues.

This is a serious setback for the president after he made his televised national announcement and stating he purchased the booster shots, this leaves his vaccine rollout in serious jeopardy.

The president should have waited, because for weeks the regulatory scientists at the FDA have been warning Biden that more data is needed before a definitive decision could be reached. This flies in the face of Biden who routinely states that his administration would vigorously follow the science. He just didn’t in this case and followed politics in making his decision.

Other domestic issues have soiled the Biden administration none more so then the hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants following across the U.S. southern border. Video footage shows over 8,000 illegal migrants mostly Haitian’s camped in squalor conditions under or near the bridge in Del Rio, Texas.

After the Haitian earthquake in August, and the Cuban uprising in the early part of summer Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas announced that “The time is never right to attempt migration by sea,” Mayorkas said in a press conference at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters. “To those who risk their lives doing so, this risk is not worth taking.”

“Allow me to be clear: If you take to the sea, you will not come to the United States.”

Haitian’s have found another way to enter the U.S., and that is to join the throng of illegal migrants entering the U.S. southern border as they are allowed to remain inside the United States. U.S. Custom and border protection have reported that over 208,000 illegal migrants have been apprehended entering the U.S., each in the past three months over 200,000 have been caught entering.

If this wasn’t enough, President Biden who was elected to rebuild alliances with our allies after the deteriorated under President Trump, as he was hailed as a foreign policy expert, unfortunately his decision to cut out France from a secret nuclear submarine deal with Australia and England anger Paris to know end.

France was angered about the deal, but the way they found out of by a radio program, this incensed Paris as not a way to treat an ally. In response to this decision France canceled a planned anniversary of a pivotal remembrance ceremony commeratorating a Revolutionary War naval battle against the British that secured American Independence.

Now Biden is facing difficulties with his ambitious $3.5 trillion spending package that was supposed to pass in conjunction with the already passed $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that is being held up in the House unless the Senate passes the more ambitious package first.

Progressive Democrats in the House have signaled they will not vote on the trillion dollar package unless the Senate passes the $3.5 trillion package first, unfortunately moderate Democrats such as West Virginia Democratic Senator joe Manchin have refused to support an ambitious spending package.

With all of this Congress still has to deal with raising the debt ceiling and dealing with government funding will challenge Biden in the weeks ahead.
