No candidate running for the presidency in 2016 has been in the spotlight as long as Hillary Clinton. With her announcement that she is running for president in 2016, Hillary Clinton is now facing a mounting avalanche of questions about the Clinton Foundation and how it impacted her time as Secretary of State.
The crisis with Hillary Clinton began when it was revealed that while she was Secretary of State she had a private server in her residence in which all of her government emails went through.
Then she decided to delete all emails that she deemed personal which amounted to over 30,000, and then the real bombshell dropped. The Clinton foundation had accepted foreign and corporate donations from countries and businesses doing business before the State Department.
Over the weekend the Clinton campaign and the many surrogates claimed that the author of the book “Clinton Cash” Peter Schweitzer hadn’t really proved there was a “quid pro quo.”
This scandal is really much about nothing and more of partisan politics than any real bribery or conflict of interest issue.
Now if one just takes the partisanship out of this and just look objectively at this, you would find this to be disturbing and highly questionable practice by Clinton.
First, she has refused to turn over the server in question, and continues to accept foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation, and the same time claiming she wants to be transparent and wanting to get money out of politics.
Unless Clinton has a full disclosure of all contributions and turns over the server this controversy will not go away!
